b'WarmanFire RescueWarman Fire Rescue provides residents, visitors and businesses with protection against all hazards including fire and accidents through preparedness, public education and emergency response.Warman Fire Rescue is the Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service responding to fire, medical and rescue calls within Warman and in the R.M. of Corman Park, operating from the Fire Hall on 4th Street and Centennial Blvd. It is the busiest volunteer department in Saskatchewan and has mutual aid agreements with Martensville, Osler, Dalmeny and Langham. Only the Fire Chief position is full-time. Founded in 1964, this year they celebrate their 60th anniversary serving Warman and area. Join them for their Emergency and Protective Services Dine and Dance on October 26, 2024. Warman Fire Rescue is a proactive department with equipment and training equal to all full-time career fire departments. In 2023 they responded to 527 emergency calls, 138 of which were Fire, Rescue, and Motor Vehicle Collisions and 389 were Emergency Medical Response. 30 members carry radios at home and respond 24/7/365 to the Fire Hall when notified. In an emergency they are dispatched as the First Responders by Medavie Health Services West in Saskatoon, and by Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services for all other call types. The cities of Warman, Saskatoon and Martensville have partnered to create a regional fire training facility in the RM of Corman Park. Work on the site continues with planned training beginning spring of 2024. Members of Warman Fire Rescue are very involved in the community and host events such as open houses with free breakfasts or barbecues, and love to display their community pride by helping out at local events.
