There are several initiatives in our community to help kids get involved in activities that they may not be able to take part in otherwise. Your support is greatly appreciated.Community, Culture and Arts FundThis fund provides parents the opportunity to apply for funding for their children (age 18 and under) to participate in programs and activities such drama, art, dance, heritage, music, babysitting courses, workshops, safe-at-home courses and other programs and activities. This program is focused on realizing the many talents of the children who love art, culture, heritage or would like to further their education with babysitting courses or attend a youth-based workshop or conference.KidSportKidSport is a childrens charity that assists children of families facing financial obstacles to participate in community sport programs. Individual grants of up to $750 are available per calendar year for children and youth up to 18 years of age. All funds used for the grants comes from the communities fundraising efforts and donations. Support KidSport this year by making a charitable donation, and contributing to our fundraising events. All donations made directly to Warman KidSport are eligible for a Charitable Tax Receipt. See activities you can support to help our kids at warmankidsport.ca.Canadian Tire Jumpstart Jumpstart is committed to helping all families access a range of activities, from boxing to bowling and skating to skiing, and also helps to fund costs for equipment. Children can be funded for successive seasons in an activity, up to a maximum of $300 per activity.
