Warman has earned national recognition after being ranked 19th among Canada’s
Most Livable Cities by The Globe and Mail. The ranking represents a dramatic jump of
115 positions, placing Warman 5th among small cities in Canada.
One of the most notable highlights of the report is Warman’s number one ranking in
Safety, with an 80% lower likelihood of crime than the national average. The study
evaluated 454 cities across ten categories including economy, housing, community,
safety, health care, education, amenities, transportation, demographics, and climate.
City leaders say the recognition reflects the community’s strong sense of belonging and
the collaborative efforts of local organizations, including Warman RCMP and Warman
Fire Rescue, along with city administration and council.
Together, these efforts continue to help make Warman a safe, welcoming, and vibrant
place to live, work, and grow.
